Hello! This is a fanclub for anyone who enjoys the work of the incredibly talented author Robin Hobb. It is also open to display artwork by members that is inspired by her novels.

Yes, I am alive!
I am SO sorry for leaving the club high and dry for so long. It's been a hectic year. However, I am alive and I do intend to revive the club. First, over the next couple of weeks I will be reading all my notes and replying, as well as adding new members. Once I get everyone organized and added I will work on adding more art. So keep an eye on things!
If you have sent me a note requesting to join the club within the past year: Those people who requested from January 1st, 2007 through today (February 20, 2007) have been added. I've sent a note to the rest of you to find out if you are still interested in joining despite my long absence. If so, just reply back to me and I'll get you added!
Also, keep an eye out for new submissions and a contest being added soon!

JOINING THE CLUB:
If you would like to join the club, please send a note to "RobinHobbFanclub". Do not ask to join via comments on the front page. (It clutters up the comment space).
Also, it is not required, but it would be appreciated if you would list the club in your journal. ^_~

Of course, i would dearly like there to be a film of the Farseer Trilogy on the horizon, but then, there would need to be another two in-order to complete the whole of the Six Duchies stories. I really can't see that.
Still, you never can tell what goes on behind closed scenery doors.
I can't wait!!

I'm not 100% sure i'd agree with that as i've got my own idea who could be more apt, but as i'm neither a film student nor am i someone who has thoroughly read these books - yet, it might be wiser for me not to mention it.
Anyway, enough of this old who should play who, but about ten minutes ago while i was looking a pic of king Theoden of LOTR i, all of a sudden thought for a split-second that i was looking at king Shrewd!
Funny that, but i think he would make an excellent king shrewd, err, not king Theoden, but Bernard Hill as he always seems to be sick (king Theoden), well, where i am in the book anyhow (book 2, ch. 14).
Feel free to post my "Robin Hobb Fan" stamp ([link])

I had a look at the trailer for '28 Days Later', and i'm too much of a scaredy-cat to be wanting to watch that film, and besides, i wouldn't want to frighten away one of me lives.

But, having said that I'm glad he got his comeuppance in that movie 'Red Eye'.
As to playing the mis-understood hero Fitz, i dunno? How about playing him as Galen?
At some point in time i will again read these books perhaps a second or third time so as to get a 'feel' of how to draw on those drawings that have occupied imagination.
